How we research and update money app reviews.
Our goal is to make each recommendation understandable, current, and honest about its risks before you click any link.
Where our facts come from
Every claim on a review traces back to a source we can name, in this order of trust:
- The company's own terms: official offer pages, help centers, referral terms, fee schedules and app-store listings. When a bonus is involved, its terms page wins over anything else.
- Regulators and official registries: state gaming commissions and the CFTC for sportsbooks and prediction markets, and issuer disclosures for credit products.
- Independent testers: for AI models, performance numbers come from independent benchmarks such as Artificial Analysis. A company's own benchmark is labeled as that company's claim.
- Reporting and user reports: used for context only, never as the single source of a number.
Each review lists the sources it checked and the date it last checked them.
How offers are verified
Before a bonus appears on the site, we open the offer in a real browser and read its official terms: what you get, what you must do, the deadline, the states where it applies and the rule that most often costs people the bonus. Every bonus card shows the date of its last check. When an offer changes, the page is updated and the change is logged with its date in the public Offer Tracker.
We only publish a referral code or link when the program's own terms allow it to be shared publicly. When they don't, we say so on the page and explain the legitimate way to get the bonus instead.
How scores and rankings work
Scores follow the published method in How we rank: cost, what the product actually gives back, how hard the requirements are, risk, and the quality of its terms. Partners can pay us for sign-ups. They cannot pay for a review, a score, a position on a list or the wording of a verdict, and the size of a referral reward is never an input to a score.
How we make money
Finance App Radar earns a referral reward when a reader signs up through one of our links and completes the qualifying action. That is the only way the site makes money: there are no paid placements and no sponsored reviews. Referral links go through a short /go/ address, are marked rel="sponsored nofollow", and every page that contains them says so near the top.
Products we remove
When a product's terms, conduct or availability stop meeting this standard, we take it off the site completely rather than leave a link to something we would not recommend. In October 2026 that meant removing ten products and their pages at once.
Sports betting, fantasy and prediction markets
These pages are for adults in eligible states only. Every promotion for them carries the age and location requirement and the 1-800-GAMBLER helpline next to the offer itself, not only in the footer. We describe betting and event contracts as entertainment with a real chance of loss, never as a way to earn income.
Not financial advice
Our pages are educational and editorial. They are not personalized financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Fees, rates and eligibility depend on your situation and change often; always confirm the live terms before you sign up.
Corrections
If something on a page is wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact page. We check the claim against the official source, fix the page, and note material changes, including offer changes, in the Offer Tracker with the date.
